Project:
Grey Indian sandstone patio with raised borders using Oak railway sleepers

Where: Thames Ditton
The brief:
Provide a seating area, new planting and lawn to a neglected garden in Thames Ditton.
How we helped:
Our landscaping specialists started by thoroughly clearing this neglected garden. Taking care to protect the existing pathway down the side of the house, they arranged for skip delivery and quickly and cleanly removed all debris – revealing lots of space for construction. In order to deal with the existing levels of shrubs in the garden they constructed a small raised border using Oak railway sleepers. Quality screened topsoil was added, and the new border filled with stunning new shrubs, perennials and Spring bulbs to allow for year round colour and interest.
A gorgeous Grey Indian Sandstone circular patio became the focal point of the garden and the surrounds finished with resilient turf. We talked the client through the care of new lawn and plants and we were as delighted as them with the transformation.
The results:

What our clients said:
Oh my goodness, we had no idea there was so much space at the back of the garden! We are really enjoying every cm of the new garden and cannot wait to give the new lawn its first mow!
